Beginning with those early years of visiting the island, he has formed a great appreciation for Bald Head and it’s community. He began his real estate career in 1995 working with the sales staff at BHI Ltd. In April of 1998, David combined that appreciation for Bald Head with his knowledge of the real estate market and opened his own firm, Bald Head Island Real Estate Sales, Inc. David currently serves on the Board for the Bald Head Island Conservancy and is an active member of the Southport community. He and his wife Emerson have a 3 ½ year old son, David, and look forward to welcoming a new addition to their family with a second child due in November of ‘07.

		Mike Boozell - Broker (H)910-454-0733 (C)910-470-9500 boozellm@bellsouth.net Mike and his wife Anne moved to Bald Head Island from Washington, DC after having been property owners and part-time visitors to the island for more than nine years. With previous experience as a marketing consultant with Spectrum Marketing and a sales manager with Marriott International, Mike’s goal is to provide his clients with a competitive edge in meeting their real estate needs. As a full-time resident on Bald Head, Mike is an active member of the community and serves on the Village Transportation Committee, the Board of the Smith Island Land Trust and the Chapel Board of Trustees. Mike enjoys fishing, exploring the island’s rich nature and beauty and is an enthusiastic member of the Bald Head Island Croquet Club.

		Gilbert Powell - Broker, RSPS (H)910-278-7714 (C)910-448-0312 gpowell@ec.rr.com www.gilbertpowell.com Gilbert, a native of Wilson, NC, grew up on the North Carolina Coast. A licensed broker since 1977, he first joined Bald Head Island in 1986 as the Sales Director and Project Manager of Indigo Plantation. As the Executive Director of the Bald Head Island Conservancy from June 1998 - May 2004, Gilbert gained considerable knowledge of the Island’s resources and community. He has served on the Advisory Committees for NC Division of Coastal Management and the NC Division of Parks & Recreation and was past Chairman of Southport Economic Development Committee and past Director of Southport/Oak Island Chamber of Commerce. Gilbert is also certified RSPS, Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist.

		Kurt Bonney - Broker-In-Charge (O)910-457-6463 (C)910-352-1928 bhisales@bizec.rr.com Kurt first came to Bald Head Island in 1999 while working in movie production on Grant Mitchell’s feature film "The Pavilion". Since that time, he has come to love Bald Head and its many unique characteristics. Kurt began working with Bald Head Island Real Estate Sales, Inc. in 2003 as the office manager for the company. As the company has grown, so has Kurt’s experience and knowledge of the real estate field and he has since worked his way into becoming the Broker-In-Charge. Not only managing the day to day office operations, he has also become extremely active in the selling side of the business. Kurt’s wife Emily Bonney is the Bald Head Association’s ARC administrator. They have a young son, Ethan, and a border collie, Chandler, who both love visiting Bald Head Island.

		Anthony E. Grubb - Marketing Manager (O)910-457-6463 bhisales2@bizec.rr.com Anthony came to know Bald Head Island in 1990 while interning for a Business Management degree in Hospitality from Appalachian State University. Originally from the North Carolina mountains, he found living on the coast to be a relaxing change of pace. Following his internship, Anthony spent several years working with BHI Ltd., gaining experience in both the property management and real estate fields. A licensed NC broker, he chose the marketing field as an opportunity to showcase the beauty and lifestyle that Bald Head Island has to offer.

		Wendy Pierce - Contract Manager (O)910-457-6463 bhisales3@bizec.rr.com Wendy is the newest member of our firm. She gained considerable experience with Bald Head Island real estate transactions while working as a legal secretary for a local real estate attorney. A NC licensed Broker, Wendy brings extensive knowledge of the Island’s many associations, associated fees, and Club membership transfers to her new position as Contract Manager. She and her husband Jerry have 3 children and are very active in school and community activities.

		Robert Marshall - Broker (C)910-540-0359 Bob was one of the first people to purchase property on Bald Head Island in 1972. A full-time resident of Bald Head for several years, he was one of the first agents hired to work with Bald Head Island Real Estate Sales, Inc. Bob has been a member of various Property Owner Association committees, as well as a member of the Volunteer Fire Department. He and his wife Gladys currently reside in Southport.

		Mike Edwards - Broker (O)910-457-6463 (C)910-448-0880 mikeedwardsbhi@hotmail.com Since first visiting Bald Head Island more than 17 years ago, Mike states that his appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness it offers grows each time he boards the ferry. Bringing over 20 years of customer service and sales experience in automobile dealership management to his real estate career, Mike is enjoying the change of pace Bald Head provides and finds showing off all that the island has to offer difficult to call "work." The initial excitement from his first visit to Bald Head hasn’t diminished and he looks forward to sharing an island paradise with all who visit. Mike enjoys spending time with his children, being outdoors and traveling.

		Robin Craven - Broker (O)910-457-6463 (C)910-448-0102 bhirobin@bellsouth.net Robin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC at Chapel Hill in 1970 and earned his Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1974. Prior to starting his career in real estate, Robin worked for 20 years in community mental health and as a psychotherapist in private practice. In 1994, Robin moved to Bald Head Island and has worked in real estate sales on the island for the past 13 years. In addition to selling real estate, he owned a vacation rental company which he sold in 2005. While living as a permanent resident on Bald Head for 10 years, Robin served on the BHI Village Board of Adjustments and served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors of the Timbercreek Condominium Homeowners Association. He was active in BHI Club affairs, including serving twice on the Nominating Committee of the Club Board of Governors and also serving as chairman of the Club Tennis Committee.
